1 g amoxicillin as amoxicillin sodium and 200 mg clavulanic acid as potassium clavulanate for reconstitution as an intravenous injection or infusion. Fatalities have been reported. Hepatic reactions including hepatitis cholestatic jaundice chronic active hepatitis and hepatic necrosis occur rarely.
Hepatic dysfunction including hepatitis and cholestatic jaundice increases in serum transaminases AST andor ALT serum bilirubin andor alkaline phosphatase has been reported with AUGMENTIN.
Cholestatic jaundice which may be severe but is usually reversible has been reported rarely. Signs and symptoms may not become apparent for up to six weeks. Augmentin is for oral use. Fatalities have been reported.
